Inventive workers from Smillie Plumbing
& Heating Inc. used ingenuity to install
a stainless-steel flue in a chimney at
Schrah Elementary School, in Bridgeport
Township. When their crane wasn't tall
enough to hoist the 80-ft tube over the
75 ft. chimney, the crew inched the crane
closer to the building and then put planks
under the vehicle to raise it.

Chimney Flue

This is the pump rack at the Lapeer
Prison. The vertical uni-strut supports
with knee brace at the top of the rack
down to the air handling unit. Heads
on 3-way valves turned 7800 for ease
of maintenance.
